Michelle is a qualified veterinary nurse and has been working in the veterinary industry since 2001. By combining her love of travel with her career, Michelle was able to broaden her experience in England as a locum; working as a Veterinary Nurse before returning to Australia to take her career forward as a Practice Manager. In 2015-16, Michelle was recognised as Veterinary Nurse of the year.
Michelle’s lifelong passion for animals has been the driver that prompted her work in the veterinary industry where she could enjoy spending time with animals and helping to make sure they are healthy and well cared for. This extends to community work as a senior instructor at the local pony club at a younger age. Today pets are very much part of the family. These include three horses – Teddy, Indiana and Mody. She also shares her home with their four legged family members – Daisy their Border Collie, Daphne the well-travelled Birman, Ebony their rescued black and white cat, Mopsy and Henry who were both adopted sibling cats.
