VETERINARIAN
Micaela has been a small animal vet for 30 years and completed postgraduate training in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Over that period she has worked around Australia and in England. Micaela owned her own practice for 14 years. She also spent time teaching veterinary students. Micaela first met and worked with Robin about 10 years ago. At that time they both realized that they had similar philosophies and passion for their veterinary work and so Micaela was delighted to have the opportunity to join the Somersby team. She believes strongly in the importance of animal welfare work and has done several overseas veterinary volunteer placements and continues to be involved locally with animal welfare.
